Telluride (1/2/2017)

Telluride is such a special place, we were all looking forward to seeing the town and the canyon all covered with snow.  I also knew the ride there would be very scenic, and it didn't disappoint.  Quick side trips to Ralph Lauren's Double RL Ranch and Last Dollar Ranch provided good photo ops.  The first one below, a nice shot of the San Juan Mountains, was taken by budding photographer Lauren.

 

 

 

In Telluride, we enjoyed a nice lunch at a new place, followed by walking around town checking out shops and galleries.  Finally, we climbed aboard the gondola and were carried up to Mountain Village.

 

 

 The condos and homes there are truly spectacular, with views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains.

 

 

 

 Ashley was kind enough to pose with a furry friend, and our gondola for the trip down the mountain was just a bit crowded.  Lauren also found a friend once we were back in Telluride.  I think everyone had a good time and left with fond memories.
