Bay of Islands, Newfoundland - July 29 & 30, 2006 (Re-run)

Heading north, we stopped for two nights in the town of Corner Brook, one of the larger towns in NL and situated on the bay.  Lots of quaint villages are located along both sides of the bay, too many in fact for us to visit all of them.  Each cove or inlet seemed to attract a settlement, some of them dating back several hundred years.  As usual, it was rainy during our entire stay here.

Cox's Cove featured several waterfalls that were swollen from all the rain, which also accounted for the brown color of fresh soil being eroded.

Lark Harbor, Wild Harbor and Bottle Cove were just a few of the villages we saw in our exploration.
