New Hampshire, Part 3 - September 15, 2006 (Re-run)

From the town of Conway, we drove Highway 112 to the town of Lincoln some 35 miles away.  For such a short drive, the beauty along this road is very impressive.  Known as the Kancamagus Highway, this is where "leaf peepers" by the tens of thousands will come a few weeks later, when fall color is in full swing.  While I would love to see that spectacle, it would be annoying to be part of such crowds.

I love the rocky rivers, covered bridges and waterfalls that can be found in this region.  Living here would almost be worth putting up with the cold, snowy winters.  Almost, but not quite.

  1. Just like NJ except for the waterfalls, rock formations, etc.
