North Carolina, Part 2 - October 4-7, 2006 (Re-run)

While staying in the Boone area, we continued making day trips to nearby towns and attractions, including a return trip to the village of Blowing Rock.  Like all of western North Carolina, waterfalls can be found almost everywhere.

One of the things I found most interesting was a church with a mural of the crucifixion that had subliminal images that the artist claimed to be unintentional.

This was the end of our 2006 RV trip, one of the best in my opinion.  I've enjoyed reliving those times and I hope you have, too.  I think I'll take a little break from the travelogue, not sure how long I might need.  Stay tuned, I'll let you know when I'm ready to resume.
