Good friends in Queechee made our visit more fun, giving us a first-hand view of life in this charming community. They gave guided tours to covered bridges, mills and farms where cheeses are made and maple syrup processed. It was also nice meeting such delightful people as the folks in Vermont.
Vermont also has its own Woodstock, a quaint village that we immediately fell in love with.
I'm more of a big city girl, but these photos really do capture the appeal of a rural lifestyle.
