Back in Yellowstone, we resumed touring this very large park. I usually divide it into four main sections and spend a full day in each. Because of the time spent on Beartooth Highway, I doubled up and covered two areas in one day. Having visited several times before, we felt we could safely skip some of the features we had seen in prior visits.
This day was a good one for viewing wildlife. In particular, we were pleased to witness five wolf pups playing at the edge of the river across from our position. It was fun to see how they wrestled and played, knowing they would grow to be ferocious creatures.
