Albuquerque, NM - April 29, 2022

While I mostly avoid repeating things already done in past trips, I confess that Albuquerque's Old Town is something I do every time I visit.  Founded in 1706, most of the buildings here date to the late 1700s or early 1800s.  The plaza has always been the center of activity here, now with shops and restaurants surrounded by homes.  The San Felipe de Neri Church has been active since 1793.

It's the architecture that appeals to me, with certain specific features that I look for.  Doors and entryways are usually ornate and colorful.

Of course, plantings can add a lot to the appearance of a neighborhood.
