This was my second time going through Lower Antelope Canyon, but it was no less thrilling than the first. The amazing shapes and colors have to be experienced to be fully appreciated, and every time is different due to changing light. Further, each time through you notice things you may have missed before, there is just too much to see it all in one pass.
This visit was almost ten years after the flash flood that killed eleven tourists in the canyon. Several safety features were installed after that incident, but there still remains an element of danger due to flooding. Just recently, four men were killed in a different slot canyon not that far from Antelope Canyon.
