Zion National Park, Utah - March 13, 2006 (Re-run)

While camped in Kanab, we encountered snow for several days, during which time we attempted to visit Zion N P only to find there was even more snow there, and the roads inside the park weren't being plowed.  Finally, after four days, we went to Zion and found the snow had just recently stopped and the roads had been cleared.  In fact, the sun was out and starting to melt the snow, so we had to hurry to get photos of what the Ranger told us was a hundred year event in the park.

There were so few people in the park that day, we were able to stop in the tunnel for views out the windows without fear of being hit by another vehicle.

By the time we were ready to leave, little waterfalls were appearing all over the place, spawned by the melting snow.
